Employees can request various types of leave through the Carecentre.io mobile app. The type of leave available depends on company policy and approval processes. Below are the common leave types employees can request.

Types of Leave You Can Request

  1. Annual Leave – Paid time off for holidays or personal rest days.

  2. Sick Leave – Time off due to illness; some organisations may require a medical certificate.

  3. Unpaid Leave – Time off without pay when other leave balances have been exhausted.

  4. Maternity/Paternity Leave – Leave for new parents, with durations based on legal and company guidelines.

  5. Compassionate Leave – Time off for personal emergencies, such as bereavement.

  6. Study Leave – Leave granted for educational purposes, if supported by the organisation.

  7. Other Custom Leave Types – Depending on your organisation, additional leave types may be available.

How to Request Leave

  1. Open the Leave section from the home.

  2. Tap on Request Leave.

  3. Select the leave type from the available options.

  4. Choose the start and end dates for your leave.

  5. Submit your request for managerial approval.

  6. You will receive a notification once your request is processed.

Important Notes

  • Some leave types may require supporting documents (e.g., sick leave certificates).

  • Leave requests should be submitted as early as possible for approval.

  • Managers may approve or decline leave based on business needs and staffing levels.

Troubleshooting & Support

If you are unable to request leave:

  • Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.
